Wild Africa Trek... A Must Do at Disney!

Image
As someone who has been fortunate enough to visit Disney more times than I can count, trying to find new things to do each trip can be difficult.  During my last few trips, I have looked into doing some of the extra tours that Disney offers.  I have done the Segway Tour through Epcot, Lunch with Imagineer, and most recently the Ultimate VIP Tour: Day of Thrills Tour.  However, one of the best tours that I think they offer is the Wild Africa Trek that takes place at Animal Kingdom (to be completely candid I did this tour in February 2016). During this 3 hour tour, you are given a behind the scenes tour of Kilimanjaro Safaris.  The pricing of this tour ranges from $189.00 to $249.00 before tax.  When I did this tour in February 2016, you were able to use your DVC, Annual Passholder, and Visa Discounts on all of the tours.  I just booked another tour for my trip this February and was told that the discount now only applies to afternoon tours.  Tour s...

Disney's Yacht Club- A Review

Image
Disney's Yacht Club, the sister property to The Beach Club, is a New England Style Deluxe Resort and Convention Center. I quickly snagged this reservation because I have always wanted to stay here. Since pricing depends on when you visit Disney I will say this praticular discount allowed me to stay at a Deluxe Resort for the price of a Moderate Resort. This resort absolutely stunning! It was recently renovated and we ...

Today is Thursday, January 4th, and the Jersey Shore is currently getting covered in a foot of snow. While being stuck inside, I decided what better way to spend my day then to start a blog about my favorite pastime, Disney! I am fortunate enough to be an Annual Passholder so I do try my best to get down to Disney World a few times a year. As I am writing this, I am anxiously plannig 3 trips! This blog will talk about my time at Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, tours I've done, my experience with RunDisney, and much much more! To start off, here's a Disney Tag that will help you get to know me a little bit better! DISNEY TAG QUESTIONS: Q: A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience. Wow, where to start... I think flying on the magic carpet from Aladdin. Q: An unforgettable experience/moment you've had at the parks. I've had so many of them but I think my favorite story is when I did the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom with my...
